The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is advising “No Travel” due to deteriorating weather conditions, blowing and drifting snow which is causing significantly reduced visibility and whiteout conditions.

The sheriffs’ office’s Jason Seidel says the National Weather Service has placed Southern Minnesota, including Brown County, is a blizzard warning until 6:00 PM on Sunday. He adds that The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is advising “No Travel’ for parts of highways in Southern Minnesota and there  have been several reports of motorists and vehicles that have become stranded in Brown County.
