The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is currently seeking applicants through April 12 for conservation officer positions.

Arnaud Kpachavi, a DNR conservation officer, encourages anyone with a love for the outdoors to look into the opportunity.

“I think it’s the best job in the world. I mean, I have the freedom to go out and do what I think needs doing. I think it offers a lot of opportunities to people who are adventurous and love the outdoors and want to protect natural resources.”

Kpachavi added the only requirement of prospective candidates is a two-year degree in any discipline from a regionally accredited university.

Conservation officers have been protecting the state’s people and its resources, since 1887.
