Anyone want a cat?  His skills include napping, cleaning himself, inciting mutiny, and purring.

Yes — you heard right.  Mutiny.

Meet Quilty the cat, the animal currently terrorizing the Friends for Life Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas.  Apparently, this kitty has a penchant for opening doors and freeing his fellow cat kind so workers are wrangling dozens of cats day in and day out.

“Quilty will not be contained. And he has no shame.  Quilty loves to let cats out of the senior room.  Repeatedly.  Several times a day,” the exhausted shelter posted to their Facebook, along with very angry pictures of the hardened criminal, who was sent to time out as the staff “Quilty-proofed the cat room.”

Unfortunately, when he was brought back to the room, he was placed in the integration kennel — which he promptly broke out of, causing the Shelter to wheeze “Y’all. This cat released himself FROM THE INTEGRATION KENNEL IN THE ROOM.”

Quilty apparently learned his door-opening skill before coming to the shelter because, according to the shelter, he used to free his former dog-sibling all the time.

“If someone out there is looking for a clever cat that gets along with dogs but does not get along with closed doors, we have someone they really need to come and meet,” The shelter begs.  “Please. Come meet him. And take him home. Please…”

Obviously the post is now going viral.  Unfortunately, no one has stepped up (or is brave enough) to take Quilty

home.  Yet.
