The Minnesota River Valley Stakeholder meeting will be held Monday. State Representative Jeff Brand of Saint Peter.
“This is in response to a bill that Senator Nick Frentz and I had the last session addressing water quality in the Minnesota River Valley,” said Brand. “We really believe we can do better.”
Brand says they want to hear from all entities that impact water quality on the Minnesota River.
“In order to come to a consensus you need to set a table and have the stakeholders at that table.”
Brand says cities, counties, agriculture groups, tribes and watershed district managers all will be at the meeting, which will be held from one until four p.m. at the Mankato Civic Center
