State health officials says the increase in COVID cases in Minnesota is accelerating — and hospitalizations, including I-C-U patients, are the highest they’ve been in a month. Infectious Diseases Director Kris Ehresmann says unfortunately she thinks those numbers will continue to increase:

“As we have feared, we are seeing our hospitalizations begin to increase, and I don’t think it’s just a blip.”

Health officials are urging Minnesotans to practice social distancing and observe the governor’s order which requires face coverings in all indoor public spaces.
