– Sammy Hagar guests on a cover of his own song “This Planet’s on Fire” on Megadeth‘s upcoming album The Sick, The Dying…The Dead!

– Bonnie Raitt will be on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday.

– Metallica‘s Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo have joined the previously announced panel of Linda Perry and Record Store Day co-founder Michael Kurtz for a Grammy Museum program discussing the history and importance of Record Store Day, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary. It’ll take place at the L.A. location on April 19th.

– The Scorpions have released a performance video for the title track of their new album, Rock Believer. It was filmed at Peppermint Park Studios in Hannover, Germany where they recorded the album.

– This week’s Sunday Lunch at home video performance from Robert Fripp and his wife Toyah Willcox, who is once again topless and has her breasts painted while wearing a see-through bodysuit, is a cover of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Can’t Stop.”

– Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ drummer Chad Smith posted a video tribute to Taylor Hawkins on Instagram. And Scott Ian of Anthrax did the same thing, posting a video of all the songs he jammed on over the past week with his 10-year-old son Revel on drums.

– Painted Shield, the side project of Pearl Jam‘s Stone Gossard, has released another track from Painted Shield 2, due out April 22nd. “‘Til God Turns the Lights On” is on YouTube.
