The avian flu is now impacting Minnesota raptors. In the last three weeks, the University of Minnesota Raptor Center has found 23 positive cases in bald eagles, red tail hawks, and great horned owls. The center now has a triage and quarantine center to help the birds who do come down with the virus. The majority of raptors testing positive at the center have not survived the flu because of how sick it made them.
