The Minnesota House author of a bill giving craft breweries more “off-sale” flexibility is optimistic it will pass the Senate this session.   The measure would allow the largest brewers to sell growers and all others to sell six packs and four packs in their taprooms.  Representative Zack Stephenson of Coon Rapids:

“Politics around liquor at the Capitol don’t fall along traditional partisan lines. It does have bipartisan support. I’m hearing from people from all corners of the Capitol who are excited and enthusiastic about this. so I’m hopeful we’ll be able to get it done.”

Stephenson says the measure has the support of beer distributors, liquor stores and all other stakeholders.
