“We have lost almost 2 million birds it’s a huge issue in Kandiyohi County but you know 16 Other counties around the state have also seen impacts from avian influenza 40 different sites.”

The Minnesota Board of Animal Health says the current strain of avian flu was carried here by wild waterfowl during their spring migration.
